The textile artist Signe Emdal has explored and interpreted SMK’s magnificent flower album known as the Gottorfer Codex (1654-64) from the SMK exhibition ”Flowers and World Views”, which was on display from March to October 2013. Irises, tulips and snake’s head fritillaries have now been transposed from the painted pages into contemporary soft knitwear, coming to life when you wear your new SMK FLOWER SCARF.
This scarf is produced in the Emdal Colorknit factory in Copenhagen.
Merino wool & Egyptian cotton.
Wash at 30 degrees.
Comes in 2 colour combinations.
All scarves are handmade, so there might be slight variations from one scarf to the next.
