Johannes V. Jensen and Johannes Larsen wanted in 1909 to publish a set of books with depictions of the seasons in Denmark. Over two months Johannes Larsen painted 128 small watercolors and Johannes V. Jensen wrote poems to match.
In 2013 the Johannes Larsen Museum succeeded with generous support from the New Carlsberg Foundation to complete the two artists grand project!
